Does concrete countertops stain?

Untreated concrete is very porous and stains easily. However, our worktops are optimally sealed with a unique combination of specially made sealers and coatings, impregnation is also an option. This makes them not only durable and waterproof, but also stain resistant.

Are concrete countertops hygienic?

The kitchen should also be a hygienic space. Our concrete worktops are highly resistant to bacteria, thanks to our specific sealing method and the absence of joints and hypoallergenic. They are also incredibly easy to keep clean as they are completely seamless.

Are concrete countertops durable?

Our concrete worktops have excellent heat resistance. However, pans that come straight from an oven, stove or hob can leave stains, so we recommend not placing them directly on the work surface.

With basic care, you can maintain the appearance of your concrete worktop for years to come. Keep in mind that concrete, like all natural stone, takes on a patina - a natural weathering - that occurs over time, adding depth and character.

The big advantage of a counter top made of microcement is that it has the properties and appearance of real concrete, but does not crack and is heavy in weight.
